a small selection of my recent cakes.
Macrame doesn't have to be Boho, it can look cool and edgy in a warehouse setting.
I used a mixture of modern and traditional sugar macrame along side copper to design this cake with an urban twist.
It looks great with a macrame backdrop or arch.
Another urban venue using macrame and grasses to add a softer Boho feel to this 4 tier wedding cake.
A distressed metal look can appear raw yet luxurious. This cake was designed using silver and copper lustre for an edgy industrial finish. Perfect for your inner city wedding.
Urban doesn't mean you can't have pretty or quirky!
This art inspired cake is part of the unique "Cake Meets Canvas" collection in collaboration with Sheffield artist Wendy Carlton. You will never see another cake like this from any other cake artist.
Each cake in this range uses her original art for inspiration. If you love the cake, why not buy the original canvas too?!
The richness of copper adds a luxurious feel to your urban wedding. Team it with rich velvet, cool foliage and copper accessories and of course a hammered copper and orignal artwork wedding cake.
Another art inspired cake uses original artwork and vibrant colour to create warmth and fun to a raw environment.
Copper also looks great with urban and industrial finishes like concrete and marble. The textured dusky blue tier on this wedding cake softens the look and the addition of succulents within geometric shapes adds an organic element.
This wedding cake looks equally at home in a warehouse, a bell tent or anything in between.
A black wedding cake always makes an impact and gives your ceremony that wow factor.
This black and silver three tier Vegan Wedding Cake hints at the bride's Indian heritage.
This jet black cake with black bass relief roses and broken sugar glass dome were for a modern take on a Beauty and the Beast themed wedding.
If you are looking for a more minimalist wedding cake this pure white cake with it's original art kaleidoscope of butterflies gives a pop of colour and a funky twist.
Using the cake as the canvas is my favourite thing, I love nothing better than a wafer paper floral cascade wedding cake
A single colour wedding cake is perfect for a minimalist wedding.
I love creating cakes with an industrial texture and I adore a deconstructed 3 tier wedding cake. This trio of urban wedding cakes were softened by the addition of delicate handmodelled sugar flowers.
If you are having a wedding theme or a particular colour scheme I can design a bespoke wedding cake to match your style.
This gorgeous navy and gold table setting was by Stylist Zoey O'brien.
